Interview,car & engagement

How should I tell this..hmmm...ok,ok...lets starts what comes first.

Interview!
This week I have two interview appointments, last Tuesday and today! Aiyak! Both in payroll management/administration. My ex-colleagues used to tell me if I keep on developing myself in payroll and SAP HR, it will pay. Well, I am still new to both payroll & SAP, but the knowledge that I have is valuable and the demand in high because a quite number of companies are changing their system to SAP. Further more, the challenge of jugling both numbers (staffs' salaries) and HR policies excite me!

For today, the company is a multi-national company in Penang island, in between BBraun & Fairchild Semiconductor. Hell nervous! It's a more senior position than current post. I was just trying my luck and testing the market when applied it in Jobstreet.com. Now, ketaq lutut....

Any way, wish me LUCK!

Car

My dream cars have always been the modest type of car and most important something that I could afford. Although I have higher & more exclusive taste of car such as the Lamborghini and BMW, but I think I better to stick to the ground and not fly so high. I'm not going to tell you what is the car model until it's officially under my name. But, the crush I had on this car is simply love at first sight and loving each and every single function in the car. Started of with a colleague car which is Blue color and the engine spec is not same, but the aerodinamic shape, car accesories and function really really really made me determine, I'm going to have one in the nearest future.

Luckily, my mum's cousin is changing her model to BMW 5 series. Hers is red color with lower engine spec, why do i need such a high performance engine when it's just to travel to & fro to the office and occasionally long distance which happen once in 3/4 months. So last few days I have been checking out the car current value with the bank, which bank offers low interest rate, asking around the model pros and conts.

Luckier, the car is 2005 model and the mileage is aroung 70,000km (which kinda low, maybe becoz this is her 2nd car). And RED!!! My bee already has plans in putting bodykits and even offer free painting jobs (he's in automotive painting, his skills). Yeah! Seems like everything goes smoothly. ONLY that I have to recalculate my budget loo....itu yang payah! minimise shopping tudung & clothings or another option is to find extra income, which I'm still thinking about...you have any idea?

Engagement

Around the corner, yet I'm still not clear what is Perak & Kedah adat for engagement. Phrases as belanja hangus, persalinan bla bla bla....xtau la! Well, i like the idea of simple engagement less than 20 people event. Grand event means grand budget. I want to spend all the budget on the special day, which our plan is to host single kenduri for both sides. Since our friends are from the same "sources", and our homes are nearby, might as well do it once. After all, we are going to be one family rite? The contributions are from both la....die la if one side only....

But to manage both sides....hmmmm.....thank God my mum is a planner! hehehehe....anyone volunteer to be event manager? do contact me....

Coleslaw & Mash Potato

Went to Tesco before heading back home with loads of stuffs and straight to the kitchen to prepare few things for tonight dinner. Excited of course. First, I cleaned up the chicken (bought breast & thigh) and put some asam jawa in it. Left it aside. Chop chop the kubis & carrot put in refrigerator to keep it fresh.

Ingredients for coleslaw sauce : sour cream, mayonaise, lemon juice, sugar, salt, black pepper (lil bit). Mix it with the kubis & carrot. Ohhh..don't forget put in some onion too! Tasting time...yuuks....too sour! Tips here ladies: careful with the mixture of sour cream & lemon juice. Not extremely sour though, but it's just not as nice as KFC..... :(

Mash potato! Prepared the gravy only. Boiled the potatos. This one yummy yummy... :) Proud of it! The color and taste same as KFC...

Tonight bee's coming to pick up his dinner!!!! Hopefully he won't regret tasting my cook....

Black Pepper Chicken...

Rendang Tok....

Rendang ayam almost cooked!

Fiuuhh...after 1 week Eid holiday, today's a hell to everyone I know, at least in this office. I agree with Syed (a colleague) when he complained about waking up this morning because it took me 45 minutes tussling on the bed before I could get up for sahur. I'm fasting today by the way ;-) SO RAJIN! Since I have to come to work today, my concentration is not 100% to work, but something else more important MY TUMMY. I don't know why I feel very hungry today not like normal fasting day in Ramadhan. Maybe psychological effect of seeing people around me eating...

So i started to surf the internet for any recipe that caught my attention, but it seems like everything caught my eye from cakes, cupcakes, mee/beehoon kari, laksa, and lastly I ended up at western food (my evergreen favorite!). Looking for simple easy to get ingredients brought me to Black Pepper Chicken, mashed potato and coleslaw! For your reference: http://www.myresipi.com/. The best recipe website ever for me, other than in mesra.net because it has glossary for any ingredients that we don't know and each recipe posted have chat space for comments and picture upload. It's good because at least other people tried it and succeed.

I already prepare the list of things to buy for tomorrow dinner. Why not tonight dinner? The chicken needs to be marinated over one night. Going to Tesco to buy the ingredients after working hour and prepare it (chop chop & blend) tonight. Tomorrow just toss in everything and voala!! Black Pepper Chicken....hehehehe....

I did some work also today ok! A lot! But still got time looking for recipe in between the program run. It's 5.15 pm. 15 more minutes, better go for prayer...
